Some of Mike's acting credits include Parks and Recreation (NBC), Jane The Virgin (The CW), The Young and the Restless (CBS), The Gambler (Paramount Pictures), and Hollywood Adventures, (Justin Lin of Fast and The Furious).
Mike grew up in Minot, North Dakota, where he began performing in community and collegian theater at a very early age. His love of theater and performance continued into high school where we won a Best Actor Award from the Thespian Society for his portrayal of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. He was an All-Conference football player, Captain of the Math Team, and State Champion of the American Legion High School Oratorical Contest. After high school, Mike attended North Dakota State University for one year as a Computer Engineering and Mathematics double major, but quickly decided to move to Minneapolis to pursue his dream of working as an entertainer.
In Minneapolis, Mike studied and performed improvisation and sketch comedy at the Brave New Workshop, and was an active theater actor, working for many theater companies and productions, including Davenport Theatrical (The Awesome 80s Prom), Hennepin Theatre Trust (Bye, Bye Liver), Actor’s Theater of Minnesota (Tony and Tina's Wedding, The Song of Singapore), Joking Envelope (The Sexy Librarian), Live Action Set (The Happy Show), Four Humors (Romeo and Juliet, Deviled Eggs), Girl Friday (The Skin of Our Teeth), Urban Samurai (A Few Good Men), Theatre Unbound (Babe: An Olympic Musical), Lamb Lays With Lion (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Polish Pugilist) and The National Theatre for Children (Mad About Money).
